Barnsley U16s 48, Arrows U16s 81
The Killamarsh-based Arrows basketball team continued their improvement with an away victory over Barnsley.
Three players scored more than 20 points led by Nick Holt’s 26 points; he was well supported by Mitch Dennison’s 23 and will Hopper’s 21.
The U16s have really picked up, and after losing their first six matches they have now won five of the last 11.

Anton Smith with 27 points led the Arrows through a vital crunch road trip at rivals Leeds Tigers.
The win keeps the Arrows in touch with divisional leaders Tees Valley who visit Killamarsh on Saturday at 3pm.

Semi Eboigbe made his return for the Arrows Senior Men and impressed immediately with 20 points, seven rebounds and three blocks supporting the 24 points of Steven Hodge and the 14 rebounds of Sam Spare.

The Arrows produced their second encouraging performance of the weekend as they trailed a highly fancied Warriors team by 48-52 going into the last quarter before running out of steam in the latter stages to lose 64-81.

Arrows U14 84, Newcastle Eagles 79
The Arrows U14s produced a season’s best performance against Newcastle.
Led by 33 points from Abdifatah and 21 from Andy Lycoudis, the result saw Arrows remain in third place in this competitive division.
