Members of Bakewell Rotary Club took in the delights of Carsington Sailing Club at their weekly meeting.

The visit was organised by Mike Fowler and after lunch, Richard Daldorf, the senior training officer at the club, gave a talk on the development and training of the club's young members.

Richard was introduced by Mike Fowler and thanked by Joyce Buxton.

On leaving Carsington, several members called in at Wirksworth Rotary Club's Aquabox HQ to see behind the scenes at the Wirksworth club's worldwide enterprise.

Aquaboxes provide the immediate aid necessary in the event of a major disaster, providing safe clean drinking water and basic hardware essentials for living.
The party learned that over 75,000 emergency boxes have already been dispatched all over the world in response to emergency appeals.
