A pub which has become the "hub" of a Derbyshire Dales village has been rewarded for its work in helping the community.
The Sycamore, at Parwich, was named Community Pub of Year as part of the Great British Pub Awards, which were held in London.
Janet Gosling, of The Sycamore, which also picked up East and West Midlands Pub of the Year, said it entered the competition after opening a shop inside the pub to replace one that closed in the village.
"The pub has become a community hub for the village," she said. "We also do a laundry service and take the village hall bookings. Getting the award is great – we are really pleased about it."
