Two tots have won tickets to a new play centre in a creative colouring competition.
Arwen Beamiss and Neo Taylor, both four, won first prize in the competition, which was run by Matlock Pre School, to raise funds for new play equipment at the Smedley Street site.

Winners were chosen by Lyndsey Grayson, a director of Pinelog Group which has opened a £1million Little Monkeys play centre at Darwin Forest Country Park between Matlock and Bakewell.

She said: "The standard was amazing and all the Little Monkeys Team found it hard to pick the winners. Well done to them all."

Pre-school manager Liz Neil added: "The children had such a lot of fun going the pictures and it raised nearly £50 towards our fundraising project."

Arwen's mum Cathy said: "We're always on the lookout for things to keep the kids entertained so we're looking forward to seeing what it is like."

Little Monkeys, a 7,000 sq ft Charles Darwin themed building, is open from 10am to 6pm seven days a week.
