Organisers of one of Matlock's best-loved summer events are inviting all-singing and all-dancing stars to join the fun at this year's party.
Matlock Live will be held in Hall Leys Park and around the town centre on Saturday, July 11, and hosts want up to 40 buskers and street performers to take to the streets during the day of fun.

Each performer or group will be given a pitch between 10am and 4pm to collect money which will go towards mayor Geoff Stevens' chosen charities.

Everyone from clowns and comedians to fire-eaters and poets is welcome, with a limited number of 30-minute park bandstand slots available.

Organisers hope the event will provide a platform for aspiring stars to reach a large, positive Derbyshire audience.

For more information, go to www.matlocklive.co.uk.
