RESIDENTS can get help becoming fitter and healthier this year with three new instructors in the Derbyshire Dales.
The new members of the active health referral team, which have been employed by the district council, will be working with doctors and hospitals staff, to provide exercise for residents.
They will be working with people who have had heart attacks, suffer from osteo-arthritis, are overweight or have high blood pressure.
One of the new instructors, Peggy Sue Wilson, said: "One of the district council's priorities is to encourage healthy lifestyles and this new scheme aims to increase the number of adults taking part in sport and physical activity."
