Green-fingered residents could be recognised for their hard work as part of this year's Matlock In Bloom.
The town council is encouraging people to enter their gardens into the 2008 competition for a chance to win a number of prizes and a special award. Shops, pubs, cafes and hotels can also enter for the title of best floral displays in the town.

Entry is restricted to Matlock residents only and the closing date is June 6.

To enter, or to nominate a neighbour, go to the website www.matlock.gov.uk or visit Matlock Library and pick up a form.
