Police found 300 cannabis plants after raiding a house in a quiet Derbyshire Dales village.
The plants were discovered on August 19 in Biggin, near Hartington, after officers were informed of suspicions that drugs could be in the property.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of producing cannabis. He was later charged and was due to appear at Chesterfield Magistrates Court yesterday.

Det Insp Jed Lowe said: "The warrant was executed after we received information from the local community that drugs may be in the property.

"Information such as this is invaluable and we would urge anyone with information about drugs in their neighbourhood to contact police."

Derbyshire police can be contacted on 0845 123 3333.
