Motorcyclists headed to Matlock Bath to find out more about negotiating Derby-shire's country roads.
Bike Plus 08 was organised by the Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership and offered visitors to Derwent Gardens the opportunity to admire the latest machines while learning about The Bikers' Guide to Derbyshire.

People could also get information on discounted training courses and enjoy a virtual tour of the nation's best roads.

Robert Hill, road safety partnership manager, said: "Bike Plus 08 was a great opportunity for us to talk to motorcyclists about their experiences on Derbyshire's roads.

"Bikers are drawn to our countryside because it offers great rides – but too many of them are running into trouble. Nearly a third of the people killed or badly hurt on our roads last year were motorcyclists."
