Bat fans can get a glimpse of the winged mammals as part of a night-time walk through the Derbyshire Dales.
Visitors can join Derbyshire Bat Conservation Group on Saturday at Carsington Water for the tour.

Ranger Rose Day said: "Our bat walk provides the ideal opportunity for nature enthusiasts and the curious alike to come and discover bats in their natural environment.

"We'll be taking people on a walk near the reservoir and encouraging them to look out for these fascinating creatures."

The Bat Safari starts at 7.45pm and all participants are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes, and to bring both waterproofs and a torch.

To book a place for £2.50 each call the Carsington Visitor Centre on (01629) 540696.
