I think its disgraceful that people are thinking of building a housing estate on the former football ground.
Saltergate is part of Chesterfield’s history, built in 1871. Why can’t something else be done with it to keep it in line with the history of the town.
I agree to taking the sides down, as they look a mess but building houses on it, just isn’t right. I am sure something else can be done with it.
