Service and traffic lights

May I write in answer to two letters (Derbyshire Times).

The first is on the Christmas Carol concert at the Crooked Spire.

I agree with the correspondent that a more festively dressed church would be good and a little more cheerful readings... and please do not keep us outside in the rain.

My other letter is about the new hold-up-Hasland traffic lights and road crossing.

Who thought up this new relax, sit and wait, at the lights scheme? Perhaps these people don’t live in Hasland and had not realised the traffic flowed before, now it’s at a stand still.
