I am writing with regard to your recent article ‘Shock data on unemployment’.
I would just like to say that it isn’t only the young unemployed who suffer in silence. I am 61 years of age and feel just as desperate as the youngsters but we tend to be forgotten.
We still have to live, eat, pay rent, bills and cope with stress but there never seems to be any recognition from the Department for Work and Pensions and/or the government for us!
