regarding the bridle path from Lockoford Lane, going behind the Casa Hotel and ending on Hazelhurst Lane.
While the council have made a good job of clearing the area, re-surfacing it and installing lighting, they appear to be neglecting it now. Apart from the usual overgrown areas, litter and leaves there is loads of dog mess.
Since this path was improved the number of people walking their dogs has increased and most owners are neglecting to pick up their dog’s mess.
I use this path to get to and from work and it is an obstacle course. My main concern is the health hazard, especially to children should they fall.
The council should install litter bins, dog mess bins and notices to dog owners to pick up their mess or be fined. I hope the guilty dog owners will take notice and pick it up and bin it.
