Would someone from Chesterfield Borough Council or Mr Fredericks himself please explain to me why at a borough council facility are the honest working families of Chesterfield being charged over-inflated prices for a simple ice cream cone?
Surely a council run facility should be subsidised so that all families can afford to enjoy a simple day at the park?
I can understand a private run facility charging these prices but surely the council should be able to stipulate what a private company can charge members of the borough for a simple treat. £2.60 is a disgusting price for an ice cream, especially when the ice cream van who comes round the road only charges £1.
Come on Chesterfield Borough council stop penalising families for taking our children to the park!
