Callous cat dumper

My husband and I were travelling from Chesterfield on Saturday, October 8, about 5pm, when we saw a woman parked at the side of the road near Twin Oaks Hotel, just off junction 29 of the M1. As we drove past she was putting a cat in the hedge bottom, we turned round and went back as they sped off towards the M1.

We found a beautiful cat and her 11-week-old kitten dumped.

I rang Cats Protection, at Scarcliffe, and Diane came out to us with a cat basket, food and thankfully caught the terrified cats and is caring for them at the moment.

I hope the heartless people who dumped these cats read this as they should be ashamed of their actions. Cats are not disposable pets for you to abandon when you feel the need.

Cats Protection, at Scarcliffe, are volunteers who work so hard and unpaid to look after these unfortunate cats.
