Food lovers can scoop free entry to a top culinary event after the Derbyshire Times teamed up with organisers Derbyshire County Council to give away two pairs of tickets.
The Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair takes place at Elvaston Castle on May 17 and 18. Around 150 stalls will be selling tasty goodies – ranging from cakes and pastries to buffalo burgers, Derbyshire cheeses and locally-brewed beers.
And celebrity chef Dean Edwards has signed up to stage cooking demonstrations alongside local chefs in the cookery theatre, sponsored by McArthurGlen’s East Midlands Designer Outlet. Councillor Joan Dixon, the council’s cabinet member for jobs, economy and transport, said: “The Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair is a fantastic day out for all of the family and it also helps to celebrate and support local food and drink producers and boost the local economy.”
