In a statement issued to the Derbyshire Times, Mr Pritchard's family said: "On August 19 we got the news we had lost Craig in a tragic road accident.

"Many people's world's shattered in that moment as he touched many people’s hearts in his 28 years.

"He honestly was the most kind-hearted person, so vibrant and full of life, with so much to live for. A family who loved him, his beautiful little girl, Lacey, his partner and his many, many friends.

"We will miss you Craig, but forever in our hearts."

In a few weeks' time, Megan Darby, Craig's cousin, will climb Huangshan mountain in China in his memory.

She will also raise money to help with costs for Craig's headstone and to give his five-year-old daughter some funds for the future.

Megan has now set up a JustGiving page where people can donate – visit it at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/craigpritchard

She has written on the page: "Craig deserves a headstone that represents his personality, LOUD and BOLD.

"His daughter has to live on without her daddy now, she’s such a strong little girl and she also deserves to have some savings for whatever she wants to do when she is a little older."
