The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is coming to Whaley Bridge this week.
The event is being held on Saturday September 28 at the Uniting Church from 9.30am to 2pm and will raise money for MacMillan Cancer Care.
It is hoped that there will be a good turnout for the event, which as well as coffee and lunch, will feature a tombola and bric-a-brac stall.
There will also be plants, seeds, cakes and chutneys as well as books, crafts, children’s toys, children and adult clothes and jewellery.
The event will also give you the chance to pick up some Christmas gifts.
Specialities on the day will include the opportunity to have your hair and make up done and get advice from local hairdresser Helen Barry. A guess the mileage competition is being held on the Tesco car park with a luxury hamper as the prize.
Organisers would like to thank all the local businesses and residents who have supported the event and donated items or money.
All the money raised from the event will support cancer patients and their families.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is MacMillan’s biggest fundraising event.
