A woman was killed after being hit by a train at Dronfield Railway Station.
Police revealed today (Friday, September 5) that the 55-year-old was struck by a train on Sunday, August 24.
Officers from British Transport Police and Derbyshire Police were called to the station at 5.34pm.
Medics from the East Midlands Ambulance service also attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been informed.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “The incident is not being treated as suspicious and officers will now prepare a file for the coroner.”
