Readers have a chance to see two celebrity chefs show of their skills in the kitchen at Derbyshire’s premier culinary celebration.
In the run up to this year’s Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair, the Buxton Advertiser has teamed up with organisers Derbyshire County Council to offer readers a tasty prize.
You could win one of two sets of tickets to the event, taking place at Elvaston Castle on Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19, as part of a competition.
Cook, author and broadcaster Valentine Warner will share his cooking skills on the Saturday, with TV chef Rosemary Shrager taking over in the kitchen on the Sunday.
Stephanie Walsh, organiser of the Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair 2013, said: “Our food and drink fair goes from strength–to–strength and is a fantastic day out for all the family.
“The fair also helps the county’s economy by providing a wonderful opportunity for food and drink businesses to raise their profile.”
There will be more than 150 stallholders selling produce from Derbyshire and further afield and highlights include Valentine and Rosemary whetting appetites in the cookery theatre – sponsored by McArthurGlen East Midlands Designer Outlet.
To be in with a chance of winning tickets, send your name, address and telephone number to Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair Competition, Buxton Advertiser, 10 Scarsdale Place, SK17 6EG, by noon on Monday, May 13. Usual competition rules apply and available on request. Editor’s decision is final.
