Why has Derbyshire County Council pandered to these minority moaners by making a knee-jerk decision without consulting anyone? – ‘Jobsworths ban rangers’ dogs’.
I am sure there are many hundreds, perhaps even thousands of people who don’t mind, or in fact like to see the rangers’ dogs, but don’t feel the need to let the authority know.
But it takes one sad and selfish person to complain to get the council in a panic.
The council spokeswoman says they want make the countryside sites inviting for visitors, but what about the visitors who feel the rangers’ dogs actually make the countryside a MORE inviting and pleasant place to be – or doesn’t our opinion count?”
