Wedding ring among items stolen in Matlock burglaries

Matlock police are appealing for witnesses after two burglaries in the town.

The first offence happened at a house on Smedley Street between 1.30pm and 7.30pm on Monday, May 16.

A wedding ring, bracelet, cash and Euros were stolen.

And between 8am and 3.50pm on Thursday, May 19, a criminal broke into a house on Chesterfield Road.

They took a gold ring a gold bracelet, cash, keys and a passport.
