We all recognise that Chesterfield Borough Council has some difficult decisions to make regarding the Greenbelt and Greenfield sites.
Having lived in many different parts of the country, I would like to say that Derbyshire is by far and away the best, and it is the best for one reason especially – its green spaces!
Both Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire District Council need to commandeer, convert and do whatever they have to do to ensure each and every derelict and brownfield site is used for these new homes.
Once gone, the Greenbelt is lost to future generations and can NEVER be restored.
What’s the point of having a house where the quality of life is so compromised?
