Virus outbreak at hospital

FOUR wards at Chesterfield Royal Hospital are closed after an outbreak of Norovirus.

People are reminded not to visit patients unless necessary and the wards are closed to new patient admissions. Norovirus spreads rapidly, especially in hospital, causing sickness and stomach upsets.

It is also vital that any visitors thoroughly wash their hands.
