The video shows the project’s development from when it began a year ago up to now and also gives an update on the £2.5million Macmillan appeal.

When complete, managers say that the new centre will make huge improvements to cancer care across North Derbyshire.

A spokesperson said: “It’s been a year since work started on the building of our new NGS Macmillan Unit which will bring all of our cancer services into one building.

“The development is really taking shape with the structure in place and work continuing on the interior to ensure the rooms and facilities are in place for the building to open in 2017.”
