BREAKING: Three vehicle crash shuts M1
Three vehicles have crashed on the M1 the road is closed and emergency services are on the scene.
The collision happened at 10am today, Tuesday, August 16 between a Mercedes Sprinter van, a white artic lorry, and a Renault Megane.
Three lanes have closed on the M1 Southbound between J29 A617 Chesterfield and J28 A38 Alfreton and there is congestion on M1 to J29a A6132 Markham Vale. Travel time is at least 35 minutes.
Ambulance crews are on the scene and it is not yet know what injuries people have.
