UNITE this morning ruled out a fuel tanker drivers’ strike over Easter while talks continued to resolve the dispute.

The union, which represents around 2,000 tanker drivers, said it will focus on negotiations, which start next week.

Yesterday’s panic buying left many drivers in Derbyshire unable to fill up as many stations across the country ran out of fuel.
