Two people suspected of stealing a French horn from a house in Hathersage are due to appear at court.

Jack Walker, 21, has been charged with handling stolen goods and is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court on November 20.

Mr Walker, of Water Slacks Road, Sheffield, will appear alongside Amie Webster, 23, of Reaper Crescent, High Green, who has been summonsed for the same offence.

A house in Roslyn Road was broken into in May this year and the horn was stolen alongside a laptop, bank cards and clothing.

The victim later found the horn listed for sale at an auction house and it was recovered by police.
