A driver was taken to hospital following a two car collision on the Horns Bridge roundabout in Chesterfield on Tuesday night.
Fire crews, police and paramedics attended the scene at 7.20pm, close to the A61 exit. One driver had to be cut free from his vehicle.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: “One car flipped over and ended up on a pedestrian crossing.
“The incident involved two cars and three casualties.”
The cars were a Volkswagen Golf and a Daimler.
Damage was caused to a sign and the Golf hit a lamppost.
The road was cleared by 8.40pm.
It is not known if anybody was seriously injured.
