Travel update for Derbyshire

Commuters and residents are being warned about the following travel and traffic delays and disruptions today, Wednesday, February 12, in and around Derbyshire.

M1 Leicestershire - An earlier broken down vehicle and recovery work earlier on M1 northbound between J23a A42 and J24, A6 (East Midlands Airport).

A57 Derbyshire - A57 Snake Pass closed between Royal Oak Inn, Glossop in Glossop and Ladybower Reservoir in Bamford, because of ice.

A609 Nottinghamshire - Queueing traffic on A609 Trowell Road eastbound in Nottingham at the Glaisdale Drive West junction, because of temporary traffic lights. In the roadworks area. Congestion to Festival Inn.

Derbyshire - Flooding on Ingleby Lane in Ingleby near the John Thompson Brewery junction. Approach with care.

M1 Nottinghamshire - Stop-start traffic on M1 southbound between J26, A610 (Nottingham) and J24, A6 (East Midlands Airport).

M1 Derbyshire - Slow traffic earlier on M1 southbound between J30, A616 (Sheffield) and J28, A38 (Alfreton).

A38 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on A38 southbound in Little Eaton at Little Eaton Island. In the roadworks area. Congestion to the Coxbench Road junction.

A38 Derbyshire - Heavy traffic on A38 southbound in Derby at Markeaton Island.

A50 Leicestershire - Very slow traffic on A50 eastbound in Lockington between J1, B6540 (Long Eaton) and Derby.

A52 Derbyshire - Very slow traffic on A52 in both directions in Derby at Pentagon Island. Congestion to the A5111 Raynesway junction.

A52 Derbyshire - Very slow traffic earlier on A52 Brian Clough Way inbound between Nottingham and Bardills Island.
