A DERBYSHIRE-BASED national organisation which specialises in workplace training is celebrating a milestone after training its 500th learner.
Positive Outcomes, of The Village Business Park, South Normanton, reached the wonderful number in just 12 months from August 2011 to August 2012 after providing apprenticeships and corporate training to hundreds of candidates at local and national firms.
MD Chris Longmate said: “We’re delighted Positive Outcomes has reached this landmark moment in such a short space of time and pleased to have helped so many individuals benefit from professional training. Our aim is to provide learning opportunities that give individuals recognised qualifications and valuable skills.”
Positive Outcomes’ 500th achiever is 31 year-old Daniel Byrne who has just been awarded an NVQ Level Three in Customer Service.
Daniel, who is a Duty Manager at an Iceland store, said: “I can definitely see a difference in my work following the training as I feel more aware of the company as a whole and how to deal with customers professionally.”
Positive Outcomes offers Government-funded training for apprentices and employed people, as well as corporate training. Visit www.positiveoutcomes.org.uk or call 0845 643 5566. Mr Longmate added: “We’re delighted to see the difference we are already making.”
