Tour de France inspires JE James and DT cycle ride for hospice
JE James Cycles, of Progress House, Brimington Road North, is sponsoring the Flagg Cycle Challenge charity ride with the DT which rolls out over ten, 25 and 55 mile Peak District routes on July 27.
The three-week Tour de France will be holding a stage from Leeds to Harrogate on July 5 and on July 6 the York to Sheffield stage visits the Peak as it wends its way through Holme Moss, Woodhead, Bradfield, Penistone and Langsett, before its third UK stage on July 7 goes from Cambridge to London. It then crosses to France before it finishes in Paris on July 27 - on the same day as the Flagg Challenge.

Graeme Huston, DT editor, said: “JE James has helped set us all up for a great charity cycle challenge which will coincide brilliantly with the end of the Tour de France.
“The cycle store has long been involved in community initiatives supporting cycle teams, charities and fundraisers who take on sponsored rides for a variety of worthy causes.
“It’s a pleasure to have such a community-orientated cycle outlet on board to support Ashgate Hospice as the charity helps those facing life threatening illnesses and their families.”
