PUPILS at St Mary’s Catholic High School in Chesterfield have achieved outstanding GCSE results.
A top 90 per cent of pupils achieved five or more A* - C grades; 81 per cent including English and Maths. Then 25 per cent of pupils achieved an incredible 8 or more A*/A GCSE grades with three pupils achieving 11 A* GCSE’s.
Headteacher Sean McClafferty said: “The results are a testament to the incredible hard work of our pupils; the support of parents and the dedication of the school’s exceptional staff.
“Our aim is that every pupil fulfils his or her potential and has the qualifications to move on to the next stage of their education or career.
“We are extremely proud of all of our young people.”
