Top award for Chapel’s Carla
A Chapel-en-le-Frith woman has won a prestigious award run by the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association.
Carla McCoy, who works at The Elms Stud in Northamptonshire, was nominated for the January Stud Staff Award by Stud Groom Sarah Baker for her conscientious, calm and caring attitude to her role there.
Carla started her career at Marple Ridge before going on to train at the national stud in Newmarket.
She then entered the horse racing industry and has worked at The Elms Stud for four years.
