Time running out to rehome Bert and Ernie

DOGS Bert and Ernie urgently need new homes before the end of the week or they will be put to sleep.

They are not a pair and can be rehomed separately.

Bert, a medium sized eight year old cross breed, was found in the north of the district. He is described as a good natured, steady dog.

Ernie is a little terrier cross, white with black and brown marking, aged around three. He was also found in the north of the district and is described as in good health with a lovely nature.

Time is running out for them and, if a home or place in a rescue centre cannot be found, he will be sadly put to sleep.

If you, or someone you know, can take either dog please contact NE Derbyshire District Council’s dog control officers Steve Jacques on 07866 690271 or Melvin North on 07816 913727.
