A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a two-car smash in Chesterfield at the weekend.
A Vauxhall Corsa and a Peugeot 406 collided on Saltergate at about 1.30am on Sunday.
Firefighters from Chesterfield and Staveley attended the crash and released the driver of the Peugeot, who was trapped in his vehicle.
The 58-year-old man was taken to Chesterfield Royal Hospital to be checked. He has now been discharged.
Police arrested and bailed an 18-year-old man on suspicion of drink driving.
The road between Saltergate and St Margarets Drive was closed so debris could be removed.
