Smiling young faces greeted the kind-hearted Spireites players on their annual visit to Chesterfield Royal hospital.
The full squad and coaching team spent the afternoon greeting children and handing out presents to the youngsters.
Speaking about the visit, Chesterfield full-back and PFA chairman Ritchie Humphreys said: “I’ve done it every single year since I became a professional footballer. I think it’s important as a football club that we come and see all the children that are in hospital over Christmas.”
