TALENTED teen Lauren Wilson made it through to the regional finals of a national singing competition - and is calling on readers to help her make it through to the finals.
Lauren, 16, of Boythorpe Road in Chesterfield wowed the judges by playing the guitar and singing Breakeven by The Script.
The contest – Teenstar – searching for the UK’s best teen singers sees contestants winning prizes and performing live to audiences at some of the best venues in the country.
Lauren said: “It was a great experience and the standard of competition was very high. I felt privileged to have reached the regional round and performed in front of a big audience.”
Lauren narrowly missed out on qualifying for the national final but still has the opportunity to go through as the wildcard. Voters can text‘Wildcard150’ to 84222.
