SWANWICK: Easter egg hunt for youngsters

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt in the village with clues in shop windows. If you know of any youngsters who would like to take part, then pick up a leaflet from The Salt Pot café on The Green. There will be a prize of an Easter egg and other goodies too.

On Good Friday the three churches will meet at 12 noon at St Andrew’s. They will process, following the cross to the triangle for a short stop and then process again to the roundabout opposite the Post Office for a service. People are invited to join in the time of worship. Hot cross buns will be given out en route.

On Easter Saturday, the Methodist Church will be hosting an Easter fun day from 2pm till 4pm. All welcome.

On Easter Sunday, the three Churches will be decorated and services will be at 10.45am, at the Methodist Church and 11am at the Baptist Church, both on Derby Road and at 11am, at St Andrew’s on the crossroads by the traffic lights. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate the Easter season.
