Support for people with hearing defects

Help is at hand for the 30,000 people who suffer from hearing impediment in Amber Valley.

A support network entiteld Hearing Help is based at 156 Derby Road in Ripley.

There is an audiology service clinic on Mondays from 10am to 4pm, when an appointment system is operated.

Lip reading and figer spellling is on offer between 11am and 1pm on Friday. There is also a social worker in attendance to solve any problems, between 10am and noon on Fridays.

The Garden Interest Group has a meeting every fourth Monday between 2pm and 4pm.
