Now is the time to speak up as Chesterfield Borough Councillors will be chatting to residents about local issues.

The street surgeries will be taking place from 10am today, Saturday February 25.

A spokesman for Chesterfield Borough Council said: “Homes being visited should have received a leaflet with an ‘X’. Please place this in your window if you would like to speak to your local councillor.”

Labour councillors Steve Brunt and John Dickinson will be talking to residents in the Brockwell Ward between 10am and noon as well as Liberal Democrat councillor Maureen Davenport. They will visit Hawkesley Avenue, Darwin Road, Darwin Avenue, Malvern Road, Brockwell Terrace, Reservoir Terrace and Prospect Terrace.

Labour councillors Keith Brown and Kate Caulfield will visit homes in the Moor Ward between 10am and noon.

Avis Murphy and Mick Wall also labour councillors will be visiting homes in the Loundsley Green Ward between 10am and 12.30pm.
