Derbyshire musicians and dancers are gearing up for a patriotic salute to St George.
A celebration concert honouring England’s patron saint will be held at the Assembly Rooms, Derby, on Saturday, at 8pm
Top of the bill are fiddle player Sam Sweeney and accordion player/singer Hannah James who are best known for their work in Kerfuffle.
The concert will also feature a set by Keith Kendrick, one of England’s most celebrated folk singers and concertina player, who will be accompanied by singer Sylvia Needham.
Ripley Morris Men will help the evening go with a swing.
