Three High Peak friends have conquered the dizzy heights for charity.

Malc and Deb Thompson, from Whaley Bridge, and Angela Timothy, from Kettleshulme, flew out to La Tania in France to take part in a challenge to raise money for the charity Ski 4 Cancer.

Malc and Deb skied the vertical height of Everest, 8,848 vertical metres, in five and a half hours, while Angela skied the vertical height of Mont Blanc, 4,810 metres, in three hours.

Their efforts have raised £600 for the charity and the group would like to thank everyone who has supported them.
