Singers push the boat out

Singers are recreating a night at the musicals to raise money for a good cause.

Members of Peak Performance will be singing songs from the shows at Whittington Moor Methodist Church, Chesterfield, on Saturday, April 14.

Tickets cost £5 and proceeds go to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

The RNLI souvenir stall will be there on the night and there will also be a raffle.

John Grubb, chairman of the local branch of the RNLI, said: “We hope all the people of Chesterfield who always so generously support the work of the Lifeboats, will come along and support this event. All the money will be used to purchase a new style of lifejacket for the crew at Bridlington LIfeboat Station.
