THREE casualties were rushed to hospital for treatment after the car they were travelling in rolled over on to its roof during a crash.

The collision happened on Chesterfield Road, Shuttlewood, about 8pm, on Saturday, May 4.

Bolsover and Staveley firefighters freed the three injured adults from the wreckage and two of them were taken to hospital by air ambulance and the third was taken by road ambulance.

Firefighters made the area safe for other motorists by about 9pm.

Witnesses can call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101 to help establish exactly what happened.
