A CHESTERFIELD man has been jailed for three years after admitting a number of charges.
Police told how Julian Jarvis, 28, was arrested by officers on Knifesmithgate, in Chesterfield town centre, on January 2, after they found heroin and amphetamine in his possession.
Jarvis, of Corporation Road, Brimington was arrested again in March for criminal damage and affray, according to police, after breaking his ex-partner’s mobile phone and taking part in an attack on a 29 year-old man in Staveley.
He pleaded guilty to possession of heroin with intent to supply, possession of a Class C drug, affray and criminal damage at a hearing at Derby Crown Court and was jailed for three years in November.
