Detectives investigating the death of a woman in a house fire in Chesterfield have charged a second man in connection with the incident.
Jamie Bray, 26, of Kingsclere Walk, Chesterfield, has been charged with committing arson recklessly as to whether life is endangered and also assisting an offender who is alleged to have committed a murder.
He will appear at Chesterfield Justice Centre today (Monday, March 14).
Emergency services were called to a house in Catherine Street at 2am Thursday, March 3, where they found the body of 32-year-old Gemma Stevens inside.
Gary Tyson, 35, of Shirland Street, Chesterfield, has previously been charged with murder, committing arson recklessly as to whether life is endangered and attempted wounding.
