Smiley pupils from Barlborough Hall Primary School made a place for one more at their tea table during Harvest Fast Day.

Their teacher Mrs Neal wanted to help them think about children across the world who don’t have enough to eat.

Mrs Neal says: ‘Harvest Fast Day was a great chance to think about how much we spend on food. Each child was invited to make room for one more at the dinner table and donate the cost of the meal to CAFOD, the Catholic aid and development agency.

“Barlborough Hall raised £310.16 and the children enjoying their tea at crèche celebrated making a place for one more at their table.”
