Staff at Newbold Community School have raised more than £500 to help raise awareness of men’s health issues.

The male members of staff all grew moustaches for one month as part of the international Movember campaign.

The money will help with advances in medical science, including research towards prostate cancer.

The staff pictured are Tom Houoton (assistant head), Kevin Scollick (head of year eight) Andy Tice (PE teacher) Chris Vallance (head of year ten) Joe Vickers (history teacher) Graham Richmond (maths teacher).

Richard Prestidge and Iain Combes were two of the ‘longest Growers’ over the one month sponsored period.
